Summary
[edit]DescriptionKuramotoSivashinskyRPO1.gif |
English: This shows a relative periodic orbit (RPO) for the KS equation. This was converged with Newton's method for a domain of size L=35. One can see that after undergoing some nonlinear evolution, the field returns to its initial state, only shifted slightly (4.18 units) to the left. A Floquet analysis shows this orbit has three unstable directions. |
